Spindle Nuts Locking Plate installs in between the two spindle nuts and prevents the nuts from backing off. The lock plate fits 1954 through 1965 Beetle, 1956 through 1965 Karmann Ghia, and 1964 through 1967 Type 2 Bus models. The spindle nut locking plate is keyed to lock into the spindle and the tabs bend over the nuts to hold them in place
