EMPI Dual Tuck-Away Exhaust System fits Standard and Super Beetles, as well as Karmann Ghias with 1300cc to 1600cc based engines. This EMPI VW Exhaust System can be used with stock heater boxes or J-tubes. The header (or extractor) is made from 1 1/2″ tubing and ends at 12 o’clock positioned, large 3 bolt flange. The header is designed to sit closer to the engine and higher off the ground at the flange. The dual glass pack muffler mounts to the flange with the included gaskets and hardware. This exhaust is higher off the ground compared to the standard single or dual quiet pack muffler systems.
