Oil Pressure Adjuster, Press-A-Juster

Install this oil pressure adjuster from EMPI to fine tune your VW’s oil pressure with the twist of a wrench. The adjuster fits on all Type 1 single or dual relief Volkswagen motors. The head of the screw takes an allen wrench, and the kit works with stock pressure regulator spring. The adjuster installs at the oil relief on the front of the case near the oil pump. Rotating the allen screw clockwise pushes the spring toward the inside of the case, effectively raising the pressure required to force the piston back out and open the oil passage. Rotating the allen screw counter-clockwise removes spring tension, and allows the piston to be forced back with less pressure. The regulator kit fits 1961 to 1977 Standard Beetle, 1971 to 1979 Super Beetle, 1961 to 1974 Karmann Ghia, 1973 to 1974 Thing, 1955 to 1971 Type 2 Bus, and 1962 to 1973 Type 3 (Notchback, Squareback, Fastback).
