Oil Sump Plate, W/ Plug Chrome

The chrome oil sump plate made by EMPI can be used on all 1200cc/40HP to 1600cc based VW engines, which were originally offered in 1961 to 1977 Standard Beetle, 1971 to 1979 Super Beetle, 1961 to 1974 Karmann Ghia, 1960 to 1971 Type 2 Bus, 1962 to 1973 Type 3 (Notchback, Squareback, Fastback), and 1973 to 1974 Thing models. The plate is held to the bottom of the case by six 6×1.0mm studs and acorn or cap nuts. Kit comes with a magnetic drain plug and seal. We recommend replacing the gasket every time you remove the sump plate to prevent leaks.
