Steering Column Base Collar 1961-1977

Steering Column Base Collar sits at the base of the steering column and isolates the steering column from the body. As the steering column is part of the horn wiring, keeping the tube from contacting the body is a necessary to keep the horn working. Additionally the collar seals the steering column to the body. The steering column base collar fits 1961 through 1967 Beetles and 1961 through 1967 Karmann Ghias. The collar is slightly different than the original later model collar but will fit 1968 through 1977 Standard Beetles, 1968 through 1974 Karmann Ghias and 1973 through 1974 Things.
