CV Cage, Type 2, 1968-1979, Chromoly

Chromoly CV cage is designed for use with EMPI’s 98-5084-B Off-road CV joints. It fits 1968 to 1979 Type 2s only (Bus, Single cab, and double cab). The cage traps the ball bearings between the inner and outer races while still providing the required range of motion for the axles. The upgrade to chromoly increases overall strength and will reduce the likelihood of blowing a CV joint under stress.
